Replacing The Fuel Filter On A Fiat Panda 1.3 JTDM (EURO6)

The fuel filter on a Fiat Panda 1.3 JTDM can be removed in situ but if you want to drain the fuel there's just two bolts supporting the housing. This 'How To' is based on the 4x4 EURO6 (2015 onwards) model.

The housing will leak fuel so find a suitable work area. Keeping the housing upright undo the x6 T20 (Torx) bolts to the top cap.

Remove the cap to the housing and the fuel filter then pour the fuel in the base of the housing into a suitable container.

The cap has a locating lug that aligns with the base of the fuel filter housing. Put everything back together. When you next start the vehicle there will be a delay in starting while the fuel pump primes the fuel housing.
